Select Slot
Select a gear slot on the left to filter the list to that slot.
Equip & Swap
Click an item in the list to equip it, or click another to swap.
Reset Loadout
Use the reset button to clear your loadout and start fresh.
Check Stats
Open the stats panel to review total bonuses and set effects.
Preview Tiers
Use the iconic tier dropdowns and refine toggle to preview higher tiers.
Craft vs Compare
Switch between craft and compare if you want to estimate costs or deltas.
Rise of Kingdoms Equipment Guide
Rise of Kingdoms equipment is one of the most important progression systems, especially in older kingdoms where most players have maxed technology and commanders. Before investing in legendary gear, it is usually best to outfit your primary commanders with full purple (epic) sets.
Spenders may have a head start, but smart planning closes the gap. Not all RoK equipment is worth crafting, so choose upgrades carefully. For example, upgrading from purple boots to legendary boots for a small stat increase is rarely worth the materials. Legendary weapons typically provide the biggest returns.
This guide covers free and paid ways to obtain materials and blueprints, so you can craft efficiently whether you are free-to-play, low spender, mid spender, or a high spender.
Materials
RoK has four material types: iron ore, leather, animal bone, and ebony. Combine four identical materials to increase rarity. Epic materials can be upgraded to legendary.
Equipment Blueprints
There are five rarities: Normal, Advanced, Elite, Epic, and Legendary. Crafting requires 30 identical blueprints. Check the Blacksmith or forge tab to see blueprint sources.
Free ways to get materials
- Blacksmith production and dismantling.
- Daily missions and milestone rewards.
- Sunset Canyon and Lost Canyon for fragments and chests.
- Periodic events like Ceroli Crisis and Shadow Legion.
- Barbarian camps/keeps and active farming.
- VIP shop weekly free material chest.
- Seasonal and KvK events (Osiris League shop, seasonal rewards).
Paid ways to get materials
- Events like Archeological Dig, Holy Knight's Treasure, Esmeralda's House.
- VIP shop purchases using gems.
- Geared-Up bundle and crafting-triggered bundles.
- 7-Day and 30-Day material supply bundles.
